Shree Tulsi Manas Mandir is a revered spiritual center where devotion, Vedic traditions, and collective sadhana are celebrated throughout the year through sacred festivals and spiritual observances. Each occasion brings together devotees from across the country in an atmosphere of prayer, seva, chanting, and spiritual upliftment.
1. Makar Sankranti (15 January)
Makar Sankranti marks the sacred transition of the Sun into Capricorn and is celebrated with deep spiritual fervour at the Mandir. Devotees participate in meditation, sacred rituals, Annadanam, and acts of charity, symbolizing selfless service and inner purification.
2. Mauni Amavasya – Samadhi Parv
This sacred occasion commemorates the Mahasamadhi Divas of Guru Ji Maharaj and is observed with profound devotion and reverence. Special Abhishekam, prayers, and a grand Bhandara are organized as devotees gather to offer shradhanjali and seek divine blessings.
3. Maha Shivaratri
Mahashivratri is celebrated with all-night worship dedicated to Lord Shiva in the temple’s sacred Shiva shrine. The observance includes Char Prahar Rudra Abhishekam, continuous chanting, and deep meditation, creating a spiritually charged atmosphere of devotion and inner awakening.
4. Holi Mahotsav
Holi at the Mandir is celebrated with devotional joy, spiritual enthusiasm, and vibrant traditional festivities. Renowned Akhada Sadhus grace the temple premises, blending sacred devotion with the joyous spirit of the festival.
5. Chaitra Navratri & Rama Navami
Chaitra Navratri and Ram Navami hold special significance as they also mark the Mandir’s Inauguration Divas. The nine-day celebration includes Shri Ramchandra Nava Parayan chanting, Devi Sadhana, yajnas, fasting, and scripture recitations, culminating in the grand Shat Chandi Mahayagya and powerful Shakti Sadhana dedicated to the Divine Mother.
6. Vaisakhi
Baisakhi is celebrated as both the Punjabi Solar New Year and the sacred spring harvest festival, symbolizing gratitude, prosperity, and renewal. Devotees take a holy dip in Maa Ganga, participate in Nagar Kirtans, and join community Langar and Bhandara filled with devotion, unity, and seva.
7. Ganga Dussehra – Annual Grand Celebration
Ganga Dussehra, commemorating the divine descent of Maa Ganga to Earth, is the Mandir’s most grandly celebrated festival. The occasion features a majestic procession to the Ganga Ghat led by Swami Ji, Ganga Pujan and Aarti, and the commencement of the seven-day Shrimad Bhagavatam Katha and Ram Katha within the temple premises.
8. Guru Purnima
Guru Purnima is a sacred day dedicated to honoring the Guru Parampara and expressing gratitude toward spiritual masters. The celebration includes Guru Pujan, devotional prayers, and enlightening spiritual discourses that inspire seekers on the path of devotion and wisdom.
9. Shravan Maas
The holy month of Shravan is devoted entirely to Lord Shiva and is observed with daily Shiv Puja, Abhishekam, Shiv Purana Path, and continuous devotional chanting. The temple atmosphere during this month becomes deeply meditative and spiritually uplifting for devotees.
10. Krishna Janmashtami
Janmashtami celebrates the divine birth of Lord Krishna with devotion, kirtans, and midnight festivities. Beautiful Jhankis depicting the life and leelas of Lord Krishna adorn the temple, creating an atmosphere of joy, devotion, and divine celebration.
11. Pitru Paksha
This sacred fortnight is dedicated to honoring ancestors and praying for the peace and liberation of departed souls. Special Abhishekam, rituals, and prayers are performed with devotion and reverence during this spiritually significant period.
12. Sharadiya Navratri & Dussehra
Sharadiya Navratri and Dussehra are celebrated with grandeur through Rajarajeshwari Mata Shri Maha Tripur Sundari Puja, Lalita Sahasranama chanting, and special Abhishekam rituals. The festivities culminate with grand Dussehra Pujan symbolizing the victory of righteousness and divine consciousness.
13. Diwali
Deepawali, the festival of lights, is celebrated with traditional pujas, devotional gatherings, and the illumination of the temple with countless lamps and diyas. The celebrations invoke blessings of prosperity, harmony, spiritual well-being, and divine grace.
14. Govardhan Pujan
Govardhan Pujan commemorates Lord Krishna lifting Mount Govardhan to protect devotees, symbolizing faith, humility, and harmony with nature. The celebrations include Govardhan Parikrama, Gau Seva, Chappan Bhog offerings, devotional worship, and community Bhandara.
15. Chhath Puja
Dedicated to Surya Dev and Chhathi Maiya, Chhath Puja is observed with great devotion along the sacred banks of Maa Ganga. Devotees offer Surya Arghya at sunrise and sunset while praying for health, prosperity, longevity, and family well-being.
16. Dev Uthaan Ekadashi
Dev Uthaan Ekadashi marks the awakening of Lord Vishnu from His cosmic Chaturmas rest. The occasion is observed with fasting, Vishnu Sahasranama chanting, Tulsi Vivah, and special Vishnu Puja accompanied by seasonal offerings and devotional rituals.
17. Kartik Purnima
Kartik Purnima is regarded as one of the most auspicious spiritual observances in Sanatan Dharma. Devotees participate in sacred Ganga Snan, diya illumination, kirtan, charity, meditation, and Kartik Parikrama, creating an atmosphere of peace, devotion, and spiritual reflection.
18. Vivah Panchami
Vivah Panchami commemorates the divine wedding anniversary of Lord Rama and Mata Sita and is celebrated with devotional worship, Ramcharitmanas recitation, Vishnu Sahasranama Path, and traditional wedding hymns. Devotees observe prayers and fasting seeking harmony, blessings, and auspiciousness in family life and marriage.
